Help us welcome the King and Queen of Pork and official winners of the 2011 Grand Cochon competition in Aspen, John Stewart and Duskie Estes, for an exciting Summer gathering. In 2001, Duskie and John opened ZAZU restaurant & farm in Santa Rosa, which was quickly named a Top 10 Best New Restaurant of 2002 and also listed in the San Francisco Chronicle’s Top 100 Restaurants in 2003, 2004 and 2005.

Wells Guthrie of Copain Wines will join these superstars and share some of his widely celebrated vintages. After spending two years in France’s Rhône Valley studying under the legendary Michel Chapoutier, Wells had picked up not only the tradition of French winemaking, but also the European attitude that wine is an essential part of life. That education paid off for the Southern California native. His Syrah from vineyards such as Paso Robles’ James Berry began gathering top scores. Robert Parker has said that Wells creates “thrilling wines of undeniable character and personality.”
