Blackberry Farm

Carte Blanche

James Beard Award-winning Chef David Kinch will
join us this September to showcase his signature culinary
style — California cuisine with Catalan, French and
Japanese influences. His restaurant, Manresa, is located
in Los Gatos and works exclusively with nearby Love
Apple Farms for its sustainably sourced produce. This
partnership creates a closed circle between guests, the farm and the kitchen. And Manresa has been awarded two Michelin stars for six consecutive years. “A night at Manresa remains the finest dining experience I have had in the past two years. Extraordinary!” says Sam Beall.

In addition to a sampling of David’s exquisite dishes,
Mannie Berk, founder and president of The Rare Wine
Co., will be featuring some of his favorite wine from his
importing company. Mannie has been named Food &
Wine’s Best Wine Importer and Wine Advocate’s Wine
Personality of the Year. Over the past 22 years, he has
transformed The Rare Wine Co. to become America’s
finest source for Madeira and is personally considered a
leading authority on that wine as well as its rich history.
